Our
Story
Kind Words Celebrant Services was born out of a passion for helping people of every background and belief to create unique memories. My goal is to make the most important ceremonies in my clients lives as memorable as possible. I work closely with my clients providing a flexible service to accommodate unique needs and preferences for weddings, vow renewals, civil partnership ceremonies, baby naming and adoption celebrations, memorial and funeral ceremonies.
I am honoured to craft each unforgettable service, to create memories to treasure forever.
After your initial enquiry, I arrange an introduction meeting. This may be in person (face to face), online via Zoom, Facetime/Whatsapp or by telephone. This introduction gives me the opportunity to gather information and discuss ideas about the wedding ceremony of your dreams.
To move to the detailed planning stage, I require a deposit to formally secure your preferred date. When the date is secured, we agree a date for a wedding workshop to deliver a beautiful bespoke ceremony, crafted to share your unique love story with your family and friends on your big day.
I can provide ideas with regard to a broad range of music, poetry, readings and wedding rituals e.g. handfasting and jumping the broomstick!
You have full approval of the written wedding ceremony script prior to your wedding day and I ensure that you feel secure in my hands for the ceremony so that you can enjoy the experience.

At a sad and difficult time, I am here to offer you guidance and support to create a service that is meaningful to you and pays tribute to your loved one with music, poetry and readings.
My memorial service offers the opportunity to remember and celebrate the life of your loved one. I work with you to create a ceremony that honours a life well lived.

Yve was a star!
From the very first phone call with Yve she made us feel relaxed. When meeting her in person to discuss what to include in our ceremony, she took the time to really understand our story and get to know us personally to make our celebration as special as it was. All the guests thought the ceremony was beautiful and captured who Timo and I are as people. We were married in 2021 with a only a few guests, due to Covid, so wanted a proper ceremony for everyone to enjoy this year. Yve was able to provide additional elements and traditions (which we had never even heard of), which we weren’t able to have first time and to make it a proper celebration. Yve took care of everything, printing out vows and readings, colour matching our “tie the knot” ribbons to our colour scheme, and even timing the entrance of the wedding party to our song. Having the guests saying vows to us, promising to love, care for and support us in our marriage, was very special. I would highly recommend including this as it was a highlight for our family and friends and made them feel involved in the proceedings. If you want a celebrant to rely on to make your wedding personal and special, Yve is the woman you never knew you needed.
